1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use Shark Week Tracker (the website and the Android app), operated by Yasa Yard Management, Victoria, Australia. By creating an account you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. Contact: j.clissoldyasa@gmail.com.
2. Not medical advice, not contraception
Shark Week Tracker is a personal tracking and general wellbeing tool. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition. Predictions of periods, fertile windows and ovulation are estimates based on averages and can be wrong. Do not use the app as a method of contraception or to plan or avoid pregnancy.
Health tips are general information only. Always talk to a doctor or other qualified health professional about your health. If you need help now, call healthdirect on 1800 022 222, or 000 in an emergency.
3. Your account
- You must be 16 or older.
- Keep your password and recovery code safe. Because your data is end-to-end encrypted, we cannot recover it if you lose both.
- You're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us if you think someone else has access.
4. Your data
You own what you log. You give us permission only to store and transmit it (encrypted) so the app works. You can export or delete it at any time.
5. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no attempts to access other people's accounts or data, overload or interfere with the service, or reverse-engineer it to break its security. We may suspend accounts that do.
6. Availability and changes
The app is provided free of charge. We try to keep it running and secure but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or stop the service; if we plan to shut it down we'll give at least 30 days' notice in the app so you can export your data.
7. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot be excluded. Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app, including reliance on predictions.
8. Ending
You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time from Me → Delete account.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you and we submit to the courts of Victoria.
